Into the Shadows

While I love a good road trip, sometimes there is just no substitute for a solid hiking trip. After driving up to tombstone, the travel had only just begun. If you're willing to do some walking, Canada's north has a lot to offer. This was on route to our first camp site in tombstone's back country.

I try not to post too many images with me in them, but in this instance you really need it for scale. With few trees in the Alpine, it's really tough to really get a feel for the size of this place, and the overwhelming feeling it can have on its visitors. I'll probably be back.

Taken with a Canon 5D IV, 24-70 f/2.8Lii, and a Lee landscape polarizer. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
