Hope for Light
It's starting to feel a bit more like spring in southern Ontario and it's got me thinking back to last summer. I can't believe I wasn't going to post this image as at the time I liked the other version better. In hind sight, this is probably my favorite from my trip to Kootenay, BC.
Watching the sun catch just a bit of the Rockwall, after getting absolutely no success with conditions for the previous day, was a complete treat. Looking forward to this summer and some new locations!
Taken with a Canon 5D mark IV and a 16-35 f/4L lens with a LEE landscape polarizer. The 16mm wide was absolutely necessary - it's been a while since I've had to use full wide on that lens, but you really have to see this rock face to understand how large imposing it is from this spot. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
