The Door
Something about doorways is really interesting to me. They can be used as symbols for so many different things, but most centering around change. Beginnings, ends, opportunities, escapes; lots of change. This doorway was unlike any I'd ever seen. The color and lines certainly draw the attention in, but to what? Well, in this case it's a doorway to the last antelope canyon image I'm going to post, at least for a while!
Certainly a cramped and busy space to photograph; but despite the lack of solitude, I can't deny that the canyons were absolutely stunning and that the sights will stick with me for years to come. It was my first experience with canyon light, but hopefully not the last. Hopefully there's more beautiful light on the other side of that door!
Shot with a Canon 5D IV and a 16-35 f/4L IS. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop, though I'll note that image took almost no editing.
