Hot Cut
I had no idea that canyons could look like this from the inside. What an incredible space. The sandstone tends to take these incredible and almost organic shapes as it's eroded. In addition, light bouncing around in canyons can reflect this incredible warm and orange light, creating these almost hot looking scenes on rocks.
This photo was from Upper Antelope Canyon. Note - the location is full of people. Taking a photo tour is really needed to ensure you can get a shot with no people in it, so I'd call it worth it. Regardless of the crowds, the canyon really does have this powerful presence. It's hard to describe really.
Photo taken with a Canon 5D mark IV and a 16-35 f/4L IS. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
