The Dawn Beacon
Sometimes the views are worth getting out of your tent at 5am. It was a reasonably long hike up to Floe Lake, and the weather was just never what I was hoping for it to be, until this morning. What a treat. Another delightful location which took its toll through insect bites. Again, every bite was worth it!
Shot with a Canon 5D IV with a 16-35 f/4L, LEE landscape polarizer, and a 2 stop ND grad. This scene was deceivingly wide - I couldn't believe how wide the rock wall was - 16mm isn't enough to capture all of it in one frame on a full frame camera! Crazy talk!
