In Awe of Giants

Sometimes the world around us is truly inspirational. The Selkirk Mountains in Glacier National Park of Canada (not the US one you're likely familiar with) provided one of the most memorable backdrops for many photos this summer. I can't believe how quiet this park is - I was the only one taking photos.

Again, in this image I am trying to find some new approaches to landscape photography (for me anyway) - really using the long lens to try and create drama at a distance. This range certainly helped make that happen!

Shot with a Canon 5D mark IV, and a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L II IS. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
