blue jay juvenile at Lake Meyer Park IA 653A8018

I was very pleased to see this "baby" blue jay here at Lake Meyer Park today. These juvenile blue jays are not only very cute but lots of fun to watch since they are surprisingly shy and can even be intimidated by a chickadee - a far cry from how it will behave as an adult.
