bald eagle at Lake Meyer Park IA 854A7912

Some nights ago now a coyote pack chased and then cornered a deer out on Lake Meyer. Since the ice is mostly blown clear of snow, the surface is very slippery and the deer didn't stand, pardon the pun, a chance since those high-heel hooves couldn't get any grip. Crows, eagles and other assorted critters like opossums and raccoons are busy cleaning up what little the coyotes left.
