Cooper Family: Fish of 1918 -19

I'm not sure what is written under Fish of 1918-19 but I wonder why they are called fish. Maybe due to the fact it's a school picture. 'School of Fish'? Found a box of photos at an auction. A few were named. Most of these are from the Cooper family from Texas.
