Facade

This was a digital print for fashion project influenced by 'facade.' I went for the idea that architecture is often overlooked and the true beauty is always ignored, peoples view on it is usually a 'facade.'

I created my print designs on photoshop from observational drawings. I created a series of print designs, all using direct observational images from photos I took of architecture in Barcelona, then further printed the designs and collaged them into illustrations focusing on layering and colour. I was influenced by the shape and form of the buildings when creating these designs.

I took this further by creating wearable fashion garment ideas developed from the collaged illustrations.
