Kanazawa Japan 2024

Kanazawa is a beautiful city on the North Coast of Japan, and home to the spectacular Kenrokuen Gardens. It was definitely one of the high points of our trip, especially since we got such great sunny weather while we were there.

The tour started off with a walk around the Geisha Teahouse section of town, with not a Geisha in sight. They must have all been asleep getting ready for another big night. The price to be entertained by Geishas at night is several hundred dollars, and so not of interest to us at all.

The Gardens the next day was the best, and we spent so long there that we did not have any time left to visit the Castle across the road from the Gardens.
