It's time to speak out! Please read!

Please please write to the National park re post this link or tweet it but let people know whats happening to our wildlife. I first read this blog on Sunday and it's taken me a few days to be able to comment.

 

This is a National park that clearly promote on their website to come and visit the Cairngorms for its spectacular wildlife and the Mountain Hare is part of that promotion. What they fail to tell people is they allow the attached to happen within the national park. Why because of money!

 

I'm not anti shooting but to kill off populations of Hares because they carry a tick-borne disease that also affects Red Grouse is a disgrace. The big estates now charge in the region of £180 - £220 a brace to Kill Grouse and the poor Mountain Hare stands in the way of these large estates and profit!!

 

These estates also rent holiday let cottages to wildlife lovers again promoting Mountain Hares. Stay clear they can't have it both ways.
