Progress with Kittyhawk’s 1/48 scale Sepecat Jaguar Trainer so far since starting between Christmas and the New Year. A challenging kit with a few issues that makes you work hard to get the thing to your way of thinking. However it certainly brings out the modeller.
Trial fitting of everything is really necessary with many parts. Particular attention needs to be paid to the fuselage behind the canopy which needed some more plastic added to increase the outside diameter. Also the engine covers won’t fit properly if in a closed position with the engines in situ without a fair bit of meat removed from the rear ring surrounding the exhaust nozzles.
Is this what half the tools in the shed are for; modifying, fettling, amending and building?
Though I have sworn a few times it has to be said. :o
