C’est dans cette pièce qu’Edouard André puis Nélie Jacquemart organisaient leur vie quotidienne et recevaient leurs relations d’affaires. Curieusement, ce salon n’est pas aménagé à la façon austère d’un cabinet ministériel, mais présente au contraire un décor intime composé des objets qu’ils préféraient. On retrouve au mur une série de tableaux de grands maîtres français du XVIIIe siècle : Fragonard, Lagrénée, Coypel, Pater, Greuze. Une fresque de Tiepolo provenant d’un palais vénitien décore le plafond.
Pour l’aménager, les époux André rassemblent des meubles tout aussi prestigieux : fauteuils estampillés Chevenat recouverts de tapisseries d’Aubusson, secrétaire en laque du Japon orné de bronze dorés attribués à B.V.R.B., commode Louis XV en bois de rose avec marqueterie en bois de violette attribué à l’ébéniste Joseph Baumhauer, bureau Louis XV estampillé par Jacques Dubois, l’ébéniste préféré du roi.

Curiously, this living room is not arranged in the austere style of a ministerial office, but on the contrary presents an intimate decor composed of the objects they preferred. On the wall we find a series of paintings by great French masters of the 18th century: Fragonard, Lagrénée, Coypel, Pater, Greuze. A fresco by Tiepolo from a Venetian palace decorates the ceiling.
To furnish it, the André couple gathered together equally prestigious furniture: armchairs stamped Chevenat covered with Aubusson tapestries, a Japanese lacquer secretary decorated with gilded bronze attributed to B.V.R.B., a Louis XV chest of drawers in rosewood with violet wood marquetry attributed to the cabinetmaker Joseph Baumhauer, a Louis XV desk stamped by Jacques Dubois, the king's favourite cabinetmaker.
