Italica - Iter (Roman Road)
Italica is located about 6 miles NW of Sevilla, Spain in present day Santiponce. The Roman town was the birthplace of emperors Hadrian and Trajan. Mosaics of birds and Neptune are in their original sites. The Anfiteatro (Amphitheatre), seating 25,000, was one of the largest in the Roman empire.
