Almost Livable

One of the many rooms in an abandoned hotel in upstate New York where people would often spend their entire summers, or at least several weeks, on vacation from New York City. Once travel out of state and out of the country became more and more affordable, these places were swiftly abandoned and left to rot. The outdated carpet says it all--straight out of Dirty Dancing. Most of the hotel, when I visited, was left relatively untouched, but it was steadily seeing more and more vandals. I dread to think of what it looks like now. © 2013-Current.
