42nd Street

The infamous 42nd street in New York City and some of its famous buildings. To me, it's just another part of the decor as I've grown up around the city all of my life. However, to tourists, its the place where magic takes place. In the foreground, Grand Central Station stands squat and triumphant in its old world architecture, a true piece of history from the younger years of NYC. Beyond that, the Grand Hyatt, an H shaped, still somewhat squat for NYC structure. However, beyond that, illuminated here is the Chrysler Building, often mistaken for the Empire State Building. It's triangular lights are very different from the block-like pattern of the Empire State Building between 34th and 33rd. © 2011-Current.
