Here's a how it does the do and works the thing and yes. You need to have something pressed agaist those 1x3 beams otherwise the connect-y rod moves freely and you're wheels won't be pointing in the same direction. I would use axles so they don't move, but the part connected to the wheel's axle doesn't come with an axle. If someone want to try this out in real, it would be appreciated, and tell me ow badly it really works.
