Mission 17.2 : Riots on Corellia

"I'm not to sure about this plan Commander, is this station really that important? Wouldn't be a lot safer if we just blew it out of the sky, instead of risking our asses clearing the damn of tinnies? Osik, we could have at least brought the Jedi with us..."

 

"Jester if you don't shut your di'kut ass up I'm going to throw you out an airlock."

 

"Can it both of you! We're about to dock. Looks like the Liberator manged to take out the stations power, re-breathers and NODs on I don't want to take any unnecessary risks."

"Command this is CC-1807, Vornskr Brigade has successfully boarded the orbital defense satellite Vigilance. Be advised we are yet to make contact with the stations crew or any seppie forces."

 

"Roger that Vornskr, we'll continue to monitor your squads progress and the Liberator will remain on standby just outside of the stations range until it's weapons are down. Happy hunting vod!"

"Lucky take 1st squad and clear the bridge, Atin take 2nd check the mess and crew barracks, Hound, Trapper stay with the ship. The rest of you with me."

"All squads report in."

 

"This is Lucky the bridge is clear and all weapon systems are offline, no sign of the crew."

 

"Atin here, the mess is empty we're making our way to the barracks now."

 

"All quite back at the ship, we're awaiting your return sir."

 

"Roger that. Command this is CC-1807 we've almost completed our sweep of the Vigilance, still no contact with the enemy or sign of the crew. The stations weapon systems are offline and no longer a threat."

 

"Good job Vornskr, the Liberator is moving in for a full scan the station, let's see if we can help you find those droids."

 

"Roger that command, standing by."

"Sir the scans from the Liberator show the droids in the aft arms room. They seem to be removing the ordnance, could be attempting to turn the station into a mine?"

 

"Roger that Lucky, take your squads back to the LAAT/i and get clear, you too Atin. Don't want to risk the entire brigade if the station goes up. I've got more than enough troopers with me to handle a couple commando droids."

 

"On it, I'll see you back on the Liberator vod."

"Sir this is it. Scans still have the clankers on the other side of this door."

 

"Fixer see if the Liberator can tap into the stations internal security systems and get us a better image of what we're up against."

 

"On it."

 

"Sir we've got at least ten droids dressed in trooper armor on the other side and no friendlies. The room is mostly empty, looks like we can go in loud."

 

"Good. Command could you please open up door 17B-9, so we can give these seppies a proper welcome?"

 

"Can do Vornskr. Ready on your mark"

 

"Orar bring that Z6 of yours up here, you get to clear the room!"

 

"On my way sir!"

 

"Command we're ready, open the door."

(The door begins to slowly open, and once a large enough gap is presented Orar steps through hefting his Z6 into as he walks into the dark room. For a brief minute the only thing that can be heard is creaking of gears as the door continues to slide through and the spinning of the Z6's barrels. The moment is broken as Orar being true to his name unleashes a thunderous barrage of glowing plasma from his Z6, instantly cutting down several commando droids. Scout quickly follows Orar into the room his DC-17s ready, and after a brief firefight the outgunned droids are eventually destroyed, their reinforced armor giving way to the shear amount of firepower being hurled at them by the two squads of Vornskr troopers.)

"Command this is CC-1807, we're all clear here. Is the Liberator picking up any more droids on their scans?"

 

"Negative Vornskr, looks like that was it. The stations crew must have put up bigger fight than the seppies expected. Were you able to locate the crew?"

 

"Negative command, the droids were wearing their armor, but we were unable to locate any bodies. They must have dumped them out an airlock before we arrived."

 

"Roger that, we'll list them as kia. Make your way back to the hangar, LAAT/i's have been dispatched to bring you back to the Liberator, you're needed elsewhere."

 

"Roger that command, we're on our way. Vornskr out."

Well with the Corona virus destroying my college education, I should have plenty of time to pump out builds, so hopefully I'll have something else to post by next weekend : P
