Mission 10.1, Chaos on Cularin

"I had my doubts about this assignment from the get-go, a sketchy transmission from the Chancellor ordering us into the uncharted region with no apparent purpose and the random Jedi Knight who boarded the Endurance seconds before our jump to hyperspace. I knew that I shouldn't worry, but something about it just didn't sit well in my gut. I spent the majority of the jump reflecting on our last mission, Ryloth, I had lost the majority of the troops under my command on that dustbowl and if it wasn't for Lucky I probably would've died on the rock aswell. When I wasn;t deep in thought I was either inspecting the Bolt-Caster I had picked off a dead Jabimii back on Ryltoh or getting to know the fresh blood in the company. It was during a routine inspection of the troop quarters when the Endurance came to a sudden stop throwing everyone off their feet and not long after that, the first explosions could be heard rippling through the ship. My training soon kicked in and I found myself headed for the bridge to report in, access the situation and receive my orders. Before I could make it there my comlink chirped and the voice of Hotshot, the legion's combat adviser could be heard ordering me to round up my squad and set up a defensive line inside the bridge, apparently we had been boarded. Upon entering the bridge a frantic officer quickly brought me up to speed on our current predicament, informing me that the order to abandon ship had been given and the Admiral wished to scuttle the ship before it could slam into the planet's surface below. Before he could finish the briefing, the blast doors leading into the bridge were violently thrown from where they stood, killing Tango and Ace, along with some of the bridge crew instantly. The firefight which the proceeded to unfold was a brief one due to our superior numbers and firepower, I guess the Jedi helped too. Once the all clear was given the bridge crew along with Admiral Wyndaru and the Jedi knight was quickly ushered to the remaining escape pods, which were boarded and then launched. As my pod spiraled away I managed to catch a glimpse of the Endurance crashing into a floating mass of rock before my pod shook violently and everything went black."

I had a terrible time trying to come up with what to build for this mission, but I think this turned out rather well. I would also like to thank everyone who applied to the legion and I hope to see more applications in the future!
Side note for any 253rd members: I decided to give the 253rd's advisor a name (other than Command), it's Hotshot, he's briefly mentioned above (he's supposed to be like the one in the Republic Commando game).
