Arcaguy
Quandary 1/7 (LoLH)
The mantle of the Quandary has been passed down for hundreds of years, possibly thousands. When the current holder is killed, their killer must take on the title. There are very few witnesses, and many don't even live long enough to make a statement.
The current Quandary order was first founded when an archeologist stumbled upon a cube tucked away in a pharaoh's tomb. When he approached the cube, it immediately began glowing in an otherworldly way. The man was then subjected to visions of the cubes past, and all of the horrific, manipulative deeds it had committed. The cube takes over ones body, using it as a vessel. This pharaoh who was possessed went into his tomb, where the walls consisted of enchanted runes to keep the cube from escaping, sand stuck a blade in his gut. Therefore it could not choose a new host. But when the archeologist left himself exposed to it, he was brainwashed into becoming a determined follower of the cube. He dawned the mask and rags found in the tomb, and used the powers granted by the cube, which he deemed Quandary because of the mystery of it. Invisibility, density shifting, emotion control (instill severe fear, fatigue, etc), flying, and many more. A Quandary gains riches for the cubes master plan, mainly through robberies and blackmail. The archeologist himself was robbed one day without the cube or his robes, he was shot and killed. His killer then saw the same visions as his predecessor, and was brainwashed as well. The cycle has continued ever since. Until now, the final stage of the plan has been set in motion.
Some of you may remember my Hero Week about a year ago, when I uploaded a new main superhero every day for a week. I've been planning on a villain week for a while, with a failed attempt a while back. So here is day 1, a sinister cube with clouded origins and intentions.
