My second entry for andhe's "Who will save HawkOwl" Contest.
Jacob Stone was a famous 1950's detective. He could solve any crime you gave him. One day he was investigating the theft a mysterious ancient stone from the local museum which brought him to a warehouse. A shoot out started between him and the thugs who stole it. He killed the thugs but was ok the brink of death himself when he crawled over to the stone. He held it in his hand gazing upon its magnificence. Jacob supposedly died that night. Because his body was never found. But what really happened was the stone brought him back from the dead, turning his skin cold and grey, and giving him special powers in which he used to fight crime under the guise of Relic!
Powers: the ability to control rock marble and stone, also to create gargoyles that last for 5 minutes then crumble. Immortality
