Barley field after the harvest

Harvested on Saturday. Another lovely walk with Margaret and Suki, across the Hog's Back, past the now harvested barley field to the pond at Loseley. We then took a different path and went to Polstead and picked up the bridleway which crosses the North Downs Way and leads back to the ridge of the Hog's Back. Then back along the trackway on the ridge in the welcome shade of the trees. Attractive wild flowers and insects in summer sunshine.

Done
