At the very Middle of this bridge the depth of the river is about 3 feet. A channel is on the Western side of the River , so the large vessels can safely travel. Because of the depth of the River in the middle of the bridge..... this Bridge sadly has had many jumpers whom wanted to be sure the ended their life when they jumped. Last week a local post master took his life here. May we have eyes to see those hurting in our midst and hands to help them , ears to listen .
