Charming Mabry Mill
Mabry Mill, Blue Ridge Parkway, Virginia
You see quite a few shots of Mabry Mill online, for obvious reasons. Besides the lovely setting and visual nostalgia, it's also a major stop on the rolling and adventurous Blue Ridge Parkway. Managed by the National Park Service, the original owner's log cabin, supporting buildings and the watermill itself are all open for touring.
Though it looks much older, the mill surprisingly only dates to 1905; a youngster of a building in historic Virginia.
