Blue Angels Prismatic Shot
No Photoshop or manipulation used here to produce this photo, just luck!
The Blue Angels do a 4-ship landing configuration "high drag" pass in their show, with landing gear and arrester hook deployed. Once they fly past Show Center they pull vertical while still in diamond formation to show the incredible power of their General Electric F404 engines. While following this maneuver with the camera I caught the sun reflecting through their vapor trails, producing the rainbow effect.
"I'd rather be lucky than good any day of the week," as they say.
