Proud owner, designer and engineer Dave Eaton fields questions about his wonderful creation, the Icon 917. Starting with a bodyshell mould of David Piper's 917K-010, Dave and John Hartland have spent 8 years recreating this marvellous car that has always been intended to run on road and track. Fully IVA-compliant, it has a 3.6 flat-six engine with 280bhp and is only distinguishable from the original by small details necessary for it to run on the road.
