The Lotus Elan S2 of Richard Bateman and Roger Barton returns to the paddock slightly out of breath after mixing it with the Big Boys in the Chopard International Trophy for pre-'66 GT cars. Giving away lots of ccs and bhp, 3 laps down and 44th place was probably as good as it was going to get. Never mind, it's the competing that matters :-)
