Why did we choose a vintage image to announce the new Town & Country Travel? Because Slim Aarons defined our coverage of "attractive people, doing attractive things, in attractive places" for over 20 years, and if you didn't read the cover caption you might have thought the woman sunbathing on a motorboat in the sea off the Hotel du Cap was photographed this summer. In the age of #throwbackthursdays and #flashbackfridays that have Aarons images flooding the web, we were immediately taken by this one, which we had never seen before. It connects to our story on the history of jetset travel from its heyday to the present, bringing Aarons's mission and our own full circle.
