A Little Help?

I circled around for a bit looking at the various means of unloading money and figured that I better do something so I could start heading north again. I broke a twenty and randomly selected a slot machine and sat down. After darting my eyes around the machine, I spotted where to give it my five bucks and did so. Lots of flashing lights and buttons responded. I looked helplessly over my shoulder a few times, hoping someone would give me a quick do-it-yourself seminar but there I remained quite alone in this row and perhaps even a few adjoining rows too. With only fin to lose, I pressed one of the flashing buttons. Nothing. I pressed a different button. This action extinguished the flashing buttons. [now what?] I glanced at the lever on the side and had I never been exposed to television or moving pictures, it may have never occured to me that I should draw it downward. I did. The tumblers wildy took off spinning and I felt relief that this finally almost over. When it all stopped, it appeared to me that I won two dollars. Woo-hoo! I figured out how to cash out and returned the receipt to the woman who broke my twenty.
