Making It Work
This monstrosity occured when I found out a little too late that my transformer (the big, ugly tan thing in the middle of it all) was too bulky to fit into the Euopean plugs. Who designed this piece of crap? Anyway, what I ended up doing was borrowing a direct plug converter from the family that went from European to US plug style; However, since this would fry my stuff (it was not a transformer), I borrowed ANOTHER one from them that went the other way, so my transformer actually fit. This is a picture of the final result with my charger plugged in.
