Rick-rack, ribbons, scraps of fabrics, sequins, a white plastic horse from a Cracker Jacks box, a key to understanding stuff, old and new beads, buttons - stacks of stuff surrounding me - things I might use some day - all of it is more important to me than I thought when I began working on this piece.
