Bead Embroidery for Robert's Box

This is the finished bead embroidery I made for my husband, Robert. It includes many symbols of our relationship and his interests. In the upper left corner is a scrimshaw piece I've hoarded for many years. It's Edward Lear's "The Owl and the Pussycat", a great romantic poem! This piece is mounted in the tray of a beautiful, custom-made treasure-box.
