Identity crisis ... "What am I ? A gull or a penguin ? '"

I was watching this gull preening on a wall facing the sea at St Ives, Cornwall. It was fascinating because of the dextrous moves it made, almost turning 360 with complete ease. I have never witnessed this before and to be able to capture it with my camera was a magical moment. : )
