Selfheal (prunella vulgaris)

This delightful violet coloured flower is found creeping through grasses and meadows. These two lipped flowers look as if they are laughing or singing. Its name , Selfheal, derives from the former use by herbalists for cuts, sore throats and skin inflammations.
