Timeworn

There was a weariness about this scene. Time had chipped away at the paint, the varnish , the plaster on the wall of the house. And yet fresh shoots from a plant could be seen, inching its way up the window, bringing new life. I liked the soft, muted colours.The closed shutters suggested a sense of mystery and secrecy. What was or had been going on behind them ?
