First London Fleet No.RM1913 ALD913B
First London Fleet No.RM1913 ALD 913B an AEC Routemaster with Park Royal H36/28R bodywork that was new to London Transport in 1964.
It remained in service with London Transport until it was withdrawn from London in 1985.
It then passed to Clydeside Scottish Omnibuses as No.263 and later operated with Western Scottish Omnibuses as No.PC78.
It was then sold to an owner from Halifax for preservation
In 2000/2001 it was one of 43 Routemasters bought by London Bus Services. It was refurbished by Marshall Buses in Cambridge, repainted into London red and fitted with a new Dennis Dart engine for further use by RATP London Sovereign on route 13.
It was withdrawn by RATP London Sovereign in October 2005 and returned to London Bus Services.
In November 2005 it was selected as one of the few Routemasters to continue in service in London on Kensington High Street to Trafalgar Square, Heritage Route 9H by First London.
In June 2013 First ceased its operations in London, the Heritage Route 9H and the 10 Routemasters used on it (Including RM1913) were passed to new London operator Tower Transit (Part of The Transit Systems Group).
In July 2014 Tower Transit ceased operating Route 9H.
RM1913 is currently being stored at Tower Transit's Westbourne Park Bus Garage along with the other 9 Routemasters.
