Mollie
Six months on from her brain aneurysm bursting and just look what our amazing little girl can do now - Mollie has learnt how to pull herself up to standing and very importantly learnt how to get herself back down again! We are so proud of our little girl and all that she has already achieved, her inner strength and determination really are inspirational and yes it is Mollie that is standing, it is Mollie that has learnt how to crawl again (honestly she is such a whizz now that you really do need eyes in the back of your head!), it is Mollie that has learnt how to swallow again so she doesn't need the tube (that really is such a big deal for Mollie), it is Mollie that has learnt how to play with one hand so she can have fun with her toys - slowly but surely she is moving her right arm more and more which is a really positive sign and really encouraging to see and it is Mollie that is learning new words which are absolutely wonderful to hear, Oh and let's not forget that smile and laugh they really do warm your heart. :) But it is her Mum and Dad's hard work that have got Mollie to where she is today by supporting, encouraging and very gently pushing her along when it is needed. Mollie does have a long and difficult journey ahead of her, with I am sure, many obstacles to overcome but Mollie can overcome them one by one as she is doing now, after all just look how far she has come already! Mollie's Mum and Dad have been and always will be with their daughter every step of the way along her journey and I am so proud of both of them. Mollie is such a special little girl and she has a place in so many people's hearts, thank you all for the support that you have shown over the last six months not only to Mollie herself but to all of us, her family, we really do appreciate it.
