For Geza - who needs to make goulash
Here in flickerland we all go through flat patches.
It seems a phenomenon we all experience.
Spend a lot of time here and you will have millions of comments - wonderful
Spend a lot of time here and you will have no time to create anything or live your life - not so wonderful
Our flickr contacts become friends,
they share in what we see and experience,
they show us in their works what should be strived for
they inspire and encourage
they help us with advice and get us cameras
they share our bad moments and there is usually someone who will pick us up.
Often when I come here I am in a grey funk.
THe beauty of the images and the eyes that saw these images just lift that funk and inspire me to do some work myself.
I have to thank you all for that, it is a very precious gift.
Perhaps there are times when one has to go the river to breathe fresh river air
and reset the rhythm of the body, mind and heart.
But don't stay at the river.
So for those of you who need the river or an onion, this is for you.
Don't give up here.
Take a break or cook some stew.
Lots of love and happy week-end
