The girl with the butterfly on her finger

Since the day she came home from hospital, at 24 hours old, Chloe and I have been interacting with nature together. On that day we talked to the leopard tree between our two houses. She has never been afraid of insects, or as we say in this part of the world goggos. Has had wiggly worms crawling up her arms, saved bees from drowning in the pool by scooping them out and had snail races with her friend Rebecca. Yesterday was the first time that a butterfly sat on her finger and she cherished the moment as though she had been touched by the gods. Complete absorption by the miracle of it all. I know I should have told her to let it be and not handle it, and I will. Please indulge me in showing you the joy and beauty of both examples of nature.
