South Africans - villagers
Please please listen to the music it is completely enchanting and one of the most wondrous pieces of music I have found for ages. It is Hem Na Nkosi Bo by Miriam Stockley (originally South African born in the big smoke, Johannesburg). The music is Purcell's Rondeau and comes from Stockley's album "Eternal". Now what will you ask do these Zulu lyrics have to do with me driving through an essentially Xhosa village on a Sunday afternoon? Well its a long shot really the words translate to "Rule our king" which obviously has religious connotations and only Sunday fits into that it is just that it seemed to go so well with the African theme and I did want you most particularly to hear the gorgeous music.
