Dipper - on the River Frome

One of the pair of resident dippers that live along the banks of the River Frome in Stroud. This bird was very confiding and posed well for the camera. Other birds seen along this stretch of river this morning included a heron, a pair of kingfishers, a jay and numerous tits. I managed to get a number of shots of the dippers in between the showers when the sun came out.
