Marching Men
For this theme I was at a loss as to display men of sticks. My attempts of using matches just went up in smoke.
The plan to take shots of road signs depicting people grew out of all proportions when I realised these stick men (and women, children & animals) were less sticks than logs!
Then I thought of using my artist manakin and have it hold toothpicks as weapons but this idea seemed very belligerent, so I dis-armed it.
Then it hit me, my manakin was made of wood, so if I put them on a diet, they may be made of sticks. So I took a photo of one marching, put him on a strict PS diet and hey presto. A squad of marching stick men.
