Beneath the Branches
I've photographed this area of the Oak Alley Plantation before (previous shot in comments).
Recently took a good friend to that location for his first visit , and while there, I caught this photographer at work.
Unaware of my presence, he was meticulously and intensely framing/composing his shot, & I didn't want to disturb him.
I thought his inclusion in my composition would offer a great sense of scale & better depict the enormity of those Live Oaks.
I fired the flash upwards to illuminate the large foreground branch.....I guess....just to look cool......
Little does that fella know I entered this image into The Oak Alley Plantation Fall Photography Contest.....so wish us both luck !
