Jet Sign Abstract (1/16/07)
This is a portion of the sign for the new aviation museum in McClellan Park. I drive by it on my way to and from work and I've been able to watch it being built. The building isn't much to speak of, but this sculpture and sign are very beautiful. The light was pretty much gone when I got there. I pulled in at the last minute, on a whim, and snapped a couple of shots as best I could without breaking out the tripod. I've promised myself to go back and take some more pictures that will do this sculpture justice.
