Stump
I took this on the walk back to my car after risking life and multiple limbs to get the picture of the altered STOP sign. This one was on accident. I’m still getting used to the autofocus/shutter release all in one button so sometimes, I take accidental pictures. When I went to try a better framed picture of this stump, the camera told me that there was WAY too little light. Try as I might, even with changing my aperture and my shutter speed, I couldn’t get the light reading close to the standard range for exposure. I finally gave up. Oddly enough, I think my accidental shot, with even less light than the second shot, turned out halfway decent. Decent enough to share anyway.
If you read the EXIF data, you'll see that my aperture was F/5. For the life of me, I couldn't get the camera to open up anymore than that. Admittedly, I haven't memorized the manual yet, so I don't know why that is. Some shots it let me open it as much as 3.something, but on most of them the camera refused to open more than 4.5.
