2017 eclipse

We live in the Willamette valley so were in the path of totality. In order to celebrate and enjoy we spent the night camping at our friends' farm. I chose not to buy a special filter to take eclipse pics so I could just be in the moment.
I did take some pics with my phone camera during totality and used my big camera for people pics.
I couldn't even imagine this experience. It was more of a feeling than anything else. I wanted to cry, got goosebumps and felt calm and peaceful all at the same time during totality.
The cows layed down in the field and the birds disappeared! As the sky became dark the temperature dropped and a light breeze started.
After the eclipse we had a wonderful brunch and shared how the eclipse felt.
