2017 Waitts Lake

We spent 10 days at Silver Beach resort on Waitts Lake in Valley, WA. It is 10 miles from Chewelah, WA where Mark's dad grew up. We kayaked every morning and evening and swam (floated) in the lake every day. There was great fishing all week with the highlight being a 3 pound brown trout caught by Aidan, our 11 year old grandson.
Everyday we saw many osprey and eagles (bald and golden) fishing in the lake. There were ducks, geese and grebes. I think we even saw the one pair of loons on the lake.
