Carpenters Newville House 2007
A "Carpenters Estate Sale" took place in Downey, CA on June 9, 2007 in preparation for the demolition of part of the residence first immortalized on the band's "Now & Then" album cover from 1973.
Two houses originally joined together in the early '70's to form the Carpenter family residence have been separated and the lot divided.
A new SFR has been constructed where part of the original house stood, but the main part of the original house survives.
