Lightning_Beetle

Light Class, Terrestrial and Arial, Animal based Mech/Hardsuit. Fits one minifig Pilot w/ hair or helmet. This is the 2nd of the beetle brothers, based on the form of a stag beetle and painted blue instead of red. The have same turbine hover engine, the same winged armor on the rear, and the same turrets on the legs. They even have the same positionally based fight or flight style of combat. The major difference in these 2 mechs are the horn weapon systems. The Lightning Beetle does not have the sub mashine guns at the bas of the head, and instead of the single barrel Horn Rifle, it is equipped with a shock propulsion cannon. It collects ions between the 2 horns and once a maximum charge is reached, it fires off a jolt of electricity that can fry the electrical system of an enemy mech, electrocute it's pilot/crew, or [if the armor is weak enough] even ignite the fuel cells and cause a core implosion. The Stag Beetle can't fire off shots nearly as quickly as it's twin, but when he does launch an assault, you;d better watch out. Because of it's lack of reliable artillery and reload time, the Lightning Beetle is very much a team player. It excels in chaotic group fights and is utterly useless in a one on one confrontation. The turret guns[just like the Hercules] are not going to penetrate through most mech armor unless given time to constantly barrage the enemy, and are more for deterring fire.
